Kathryn Brown has been awarded funding from the British Academy and the Wellcome Trust to hold a conference at the British Academy, Carlton House Terrace in London in 2027. The theme is ‘Artificial Intelligence and Solidaristic Healthcare: Transdisciplinary Approaches’.
The two-day conference will bring together world-leading researchers in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Healthcare, Communication and Media, and the Arts and Humanities in order to analyse the relationship between solidaristic healthcare and cutting edge developments in AI as applied to clinical practices.
The aim of the event is to develop a new healthcare agenda that involves improved bases for modelling diagnostic outcomes and better means of mediating the positive uses of technology in healthcare settings to wider publics. A conjoining of SHAPE and STEM disciplines is vital to realising these ambitions and to developing new AI architectures in this field.
Details about the event and how to attend will follow in the coming months.
